Don’t know about you, but I’ve always loved to color. I can remember as a child loving to color, and even today I love to color. As with many other ladies out there, I just recently got into using adult coloring books and found them so therapeutic that I started to color more often. You can find adult coloring books at just about every store you go into that sells books and there are so many to choose from.
Recently, I was introduced to The Time Chamber adult coloring book from Daria Song when I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
One of the things I like most about The Time Chamber is that there is variety in the pages. They are not all filled with the same items, some pages are fuller than others, and there is a magical story included in the book.
Adult Coloring Books
Now, I’m not the greatest at coloring, and I may not always be very creative with the colors, but for me, it is all about reducing stress and relaxing. Just like gardening, when I color I find it very relaxing, and I love doing it.
One of the great things that have come from me finding the love to color again is that Thaddeus also loves to color, and when I pull out my adult coloring books, he is right there. He is there with me either helping me pick colors or coloring along with me. We have even purchased him some books that are designed like adult coloring books for him to color with me.
The Time Chamber is filled with the imaginative, intricately detailed illustrations that Song’s readers have come to love; it presents a view of our world made new—and ready for me to color. The Time Chamber is the second book in the bestselling Time coloring series from Daria Song, and I’m sure it won’t be her last adult coloring book.
The Time coloring series features the voyage of a fairy who, when the cuckoo clock chimes midnight, enters the human world. To the tiny fairy, everything seems enormous and magical, from the curtains to the chandelier to a mystical rowboat that takes her further into an inky adventure. With her she packs her favorite items, which colorers can find throughout the book’s pages: an owl-feathered pen, a star-scented spray, a time tape measure…even the key to the time chamber itself!
I love that The Time Chamber uses extra-thick crafting paper, so you don’t have to worry about bleed-throughs while coloring. I also love that there is a jacketed cover with flaps that is removable, and you can color it too!
You can purchase The Time Chamber from Daria Song from Amazon and even Walmart!
