Fall has officially arrived and you know what that means? That means that it is time to try some new DIY projects. Have you Tried this Yet? Thanks to Lowe’s I’ve been able to try something new.
There are so many things outside that need to get cleaned and some of them need something a little different to work. For instance, for cleaning the kids playhouse, slides, and swings we want to use something a little less harsh so we take a little Tide laundry detergent and mix it with water in a spray bottle. Spray down the items and wipe them clean with some Bounty paper towels. No need to rinse and it’s quick and easy to do.
For some of the items that are more dirty and don’t get cleaned as often, like the railings on the porch or the bird baths that have sat out all summer with water in them, you might want to try something a little more durable like the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Outdoor Pro or Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle. Of course you want to make sure if you use either of these on the bird baths that you rinse them out really well before putting them back in use. Don’t want to get them little birdies sick!
This is also a great time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors, check out the Duracell Quantum for long-lasting power!
