Two years ago we had a picture of Thaddeus enlarged and put on a canvas and now that Xavier is here we had to do the same thing. You know, you can’t do one thing for a child and not for the other child! As you know, we recently had some family pictures taken and I used one of those images for the canvas from Canvas Memoirs.
I really love the process for ordering a canvas from Canvas Memoirs because unlike most places your order isn’t automatically printed the moment your order is placed. With them, you place your order and they double-check the image quality, make edits to the image if necessary, and send you a proof for your to approve before it is sent to the printer. Of course this means that you don’t get your canvas as quick as some places, but you get what you want!
For instance, I sent an image of Xavier to them and when they sent me the proof there were actually two proofs. One, where it was exactly how my order was placed. However, with this option it would have chopped the top of Xavier’s head and wrapped it around the canvas. The other proof was zoomed out more but allowed him to be whole. I was able to send the original of the image, instead of one I had cropped some, and they re-worked the proof and sent me a proof with exactly what I wanted!
Had they not taken that personal step to verify the image, I would have received the canvas where it was chopping off the top of Xavier’s head, and I would not have been happy with that.
Ordering is super easy, basically as easy as 1, 2, 3.
Once I approved the proof, the canvas was printed and shipped. It only took a couple of days for it to arrive and it was packed very well and I couldn’t have been happier!
