Hershey’s Classic Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies


Yummy Chocolate Chip!  Nothing better than a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie, especially when they are made from scratch.  This is the original recipe from The Hershey Company (from the Milk Chocolate Chips package).  Probably one of the best recipes you’ll ever see, at least that’s what I think.

Hershey's Classic Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups (11.5 oz package) Hershey's Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  1. heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Beat butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until creamy.
  3. Add eggs and beat well
  4. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating well until fully blended.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (if desired).
  6. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet(s).
  7. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Cool slightly and remove from the cookie sheet(s) to wire racks to cool completely.
