I was admitted to the hospital. I went in for my special ultrasound to check the fluid flow through the umbilical cord and although the results were better than the previous test, they immediately decided to admit me to the hospital.
It was the most scariest thing I had ever gone through. I was healthy, Xavier seemed to be doing OK, but yet I was being admitted to the hospital. It was originally planned that I was only going to be there for a few hours, and then it turned into an overnight, and by the evening they didn’t know when I’d get to go home!
Thankfully I only had to spend a week in the hospital. Unfortunately, I was stuck going back to the hospital three times a week for the month after. Then, of course, was the fact that Xavier was born eight weeks early.
You know what this means, right?
Xavier is almost 2!
I can’t believe that this was the last ultrasound picture I had got of Xavier before he was born…
Less than a month later he was born, 2lbs 8oz.
And this is what he looks like now!
Boy does time ever fly!
